Praise the Lord for what He is doing at Maranatha Christian Schools! We are "walkin' on sunshine" as we walk by faith into the new building and into His vision! The rain delay hindered progress, but we were able to get a Temporary Occupancy Permit for two classrooms enabling us to move all classes out of the Mezzanine!

We're MOVING THE MEZZANINE CLASSES INTO THE NEW BUILDING! We have received our Temporary Occupancy Permit for 2 upstairs classrooms! Praise the Lord! The sun is shining, the Donor Bricks are here, the T-K bathroom is finished, and the landscaping is going in!
Teachers are packing up their supplies and our fantastic Facilities team is working to get everything in place to be ready for our first classes Monday morning! Thank you for your prayers and patience as we grow together here at Maranatha Christian Schools!

This morning was all-hands-on-deck to unload the container before the rain starts falling. Thank you for your prayer and patience. Our amazing contractor and crew are working feverishly in between these unusually strong winter storms.
It was great seeing everyone last night for Open House/Info Night. Several of you asked if there is still time to donate to the Answering the Call Capital Campaign - the answer is YES! If you would like more information, please email the Development Department, or visit the Answering the Call website.

Hello Maranatha Family,
This is a strange place to be in, since we are usually praying for rain, but today we find ourselves hoping for dry skies. Unfortunately, the rain is delaying progress on the exterior landscape work on the new High School building: work that is necessary for our occupancy permit from the County. Our contractor is working full-steam-ahead on the interior (which is nearly finished), and the furniture is shipped and on its way.
We will keep you posted as to the changes as soon as we get new information. Thank you for your patience and continued prayers and support!

As we close out 2016, we have much to be grateful for here at MCS. We are witnessing the growth of God’s vision - on our physical Campus, in the lives of our Students, and in the reports from our Alumni as they transform the world!

WOW! What a difference a week makes! Have you checked out the back of the new High School Building? The new Sport Courts are here! Thanks to a generous donor, we now have three full-size courts, striped for basketball and volleyball, and two lanes marked for track! What a blessing! As you can see from this photo, we're already putting them to good use. We are Praising the Lord for generous hearts - and a little more elbow room!
Keep an eye out: next week we should see the scaffolding come down and this Saturday they are scheduled to pull power to the new High School Building. Thank you for all your prayers and support!
Thankful for Everything God is Giving

What an exciting fall we have had together: watching the new High School building grow right before our very eyes! We donned our hard hats and closed-toed shoes for tours; welcomed our Alumni Family; and saw God’s Vision for MCS come into view!
We are currently a little over a year into our $9.7 million, 3-year Answering the Call Capital Campaign. The Board of Maranatha Chapel stepped out in faith and secured a $5 million loan to begin Phase I. Our current pledges/donations and in-kind contributions are now $1.5 million.
People are participating at every level – from teachers in the classroom to CEO’s in Boardrooms. The Development Department recently received two separate donations on the same day: one for 32 cents and one for $15,000. On the surface, it might seem one outweighs the other, but not so. The 32 cents came from the hand of a child who found it on Campus and said, “Use this for the building.” The other came because an MCS parent shared the story of Transformed lives…Transforming the World with a Foundation. We believe the Holy Spirit encourages givers to financially support MCS out of and alignment of passions, and not out of our own attempt to persuade them to do so.
We know many of you have been praying about joining us in the Capital Campaign. If you’re ready to jump in at this critical time, simply fill out everything online by clicking here or pick up an Answering the Call brochure and pledge form at the school office. If you have any questions, we are here to help! We are hoping to have all pledge forms turned in by December 15th.
