It began in 1991 with
1 teacher and 8 students.
Nearly 25 years ago, the time was right for Pastor Ray Bentley and the leadership of Maranatha Chapel, to step out in faith and plant the first class of Maranatha Christian Schools.
God has faithfully grown MCS year by year into a flourishing ministry reaching Preschool through High School students and their families.
In 2014, we prayerfully considered the best way to meet the needs
of our growing community. Our Strategic Plan was drafted
as a result of collaboration with parents, alumni, the School Board, student body, faculty and staff.
MCS' 25th Anniversary
God has shown us His steady favor throughout the years and we
are now experiencing an abundant need to expand and meet
the needs of our growing program.

PHASE I PLAN:
- High School Building
- Newly renovated & expanded Athletic Fields
- Performing Arts Black Box (studio)
- Campus facility improvements
- Funding of new salary matrix for teachers, staff & faculty
IMPACT:
- Allows the High School program to expand its College Preparatory Program while growing into a 21st century learning center
- Establishes learning environments designed for innovation and collaboration
- Creates dedicated space for state-of-the-art science labs and STEAM classrooms
- Differentiates High School and Junior High student divisions
- Allows for school-wide growth (K-12)
